Every Scrabble tile carries a fixed point value from 1 to 10 — common letters like E, A, I, O, N, R, T score low, while rare letters like J, Q, X and Z score high. This tool ranks your matching words by real Scrabble point total, highest first, so you can see your strongest plays at a glance instead of just an alphabetical list.
Board bonus squares change the final score: Double Letter and Triple Letter squares multiply an individual tile's value before the word total is added up, and Double Word or Triple Word Score squares then multiply that whole word score afterward — multiple word-multiplier squares in one play even stack. Use the Word Multiplier control above to estimate a Double or Triple Word Score for the whole word, since this tool can't see exactly where a word lands on your live board.
Playing all 7 of your rack tiles in a single turn triggers a "Bingo" and adds a flat 50 points on top of the word's score. Tick the Bingo box to add that bonus to every 7-letter word in your results.
Playing Wordfeud instead? Its letter values and tile bag are different from Scrabble's — try the Wordfeud Helper for scores based on Wordfeud's own point values.
It's the sum of each letter's official Scrabble tile value. A blank tile (entered as ?) always scores 0 points, matching Scrabble's own rules, even though it can stand in for any letter when forming the word. This is the base score before any board bonus squares are applied.
No — Wordfeud uses its own tile distribution and point values, which differ from Scrabble on several letters. U is worth 1 point in Scrabble versus 2 in Wordfeud, and C, G and P are each worth one point less in Scrabble than in Wordfeud. This tool uses standard Scrabble values; for Wordfeud, use the separate Wordfeud Helper.
Playing all 7 of your rack tiles in a single turn triggers a "Bingo" (also called a bonus play) and adds a flat 50 points to that turn's score. Check the Bingo box in this tool to add that bonus to every 7-letter word shown, matching how Scrabble scores it.
A standard English-language Scrabble set has 100 tiles: 98 lettered tiles plus 2 blanks. The distribution ranges from 12 E tiles (worth 1 point each) down to a single each of Q and Z (worth 10 points each). The reference table above shows the point value and tile count for every letter.
Those bonus squares depend on exactly where a word lands on the live Scrabble board, which this tool doesn't have access to. Instead, the Word Multiplier control lets you estimate a Double Word or Triple Word Score for the whole word.
