Effective: 27 October 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and MultiSwitch for use of multiswitch.app and its converters, calculators and tools (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We operate from New Zealand. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. That does not take away any non-excludable consumer rights you have in the country where you live.

The Service is operated from New Zealand. Contact: hello@multiswitch.app.
MultiSwitch provides converters, calculators and related tools, including (among others) units, cooking, money, health, fitness, science, clothing sizes and similar utilities. We may add, change or withdraw tools at any time.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, in line with these Terms.
The Service is a general information and calculation aid. It is not medical, nutritional, financial, tax, legal, engineering or other professional advice. Results (including health, pregnancy, body metrics, loans, tax, take-home pay and similar tools) can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Do not rely on them as a substitute for a qualified professional or official source.
We take reasonable care to keep conversions and formulas correct, but we do not warrant that any result is error-free, up to date, or fit for a particular purpose. Currency and market figures depend on third-party feeds and can lag or fail. You are responsible for checking anything important before you act on it.
New Zealand: nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply and cannot be contracted out of. If you use the Service in trade, the parties may contract out of the CGA to the extent the CGA allows; we do so only to that extent.
Australia: nothing excludes guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
United Kingdom and EEA: nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies.
Where the law lets us limit our liability for a breach of a non-excludable guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the Service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
You must not:
We may suspend or block access if you breach these Terms or we need to protect the Service or other users.
The Service, including its layout, branding, text, code and compilation of tools, is owned by us or our licensors. You do not get any ownership rights. You may not use MultiSwitch marks in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
The website may show Google ads. Ads are a commercial relationship; they are not an endorsement of any product.
Some tools call third-party services (for example currency rates, dictionary lookups, maps of ads or storefronts). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
If you send ideas or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them to run and improve the Service. Do not send confidential information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 5:
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (including network, hosting or third-party API outages).
If you use the Service in trade, you will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent we caused the loss.
New Zealand law governs these Terms. New Zealand courts have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring a claim in your local courts where mandatory law gives you that right.
Please contact us first at hello@multiswitch.app so we can try to sort the issue out.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The effective date will change. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms are the whole agreement for use of the Service. We may assign our rights (for example if the project changes hands). You may not assign yours without our consent. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
